Curated by Nnenna Maxine Odumodu, a selection of works from Emily Nkanga's debut exhibition in London, titled Unyọñ Ufọk which means 'going home’ in Ibibio. This collection features the familiar and universal experience of returning to a time, a place or even a sensation.  Emily Nkanga explores the concept of “going home” by presenting a range of documentary photographs, two films "From Uyo with Love" & "Reaching For Gold", a photo book and an installation to depict everyday life in Akwa Ibom, Nigeria; the governing structures, the monarchy, the everyday subjects as well as a local boxing youth club.
